This is a question we get asked all the time. The answer is to buy a printer that can use compatible ink cartridges. Some printers such as HP, KODAK, DELL, LEXMARK, ADVENT, and the cheaper Canon Printers DO NOT have reliable compatible inks made for them, and so you’ll be restricted into buying the more expensive originals inks .
Please click on one of the printers to see a full range of printers offer by the manufacturers. We have only listed printers that can use our cheaper, but high quality and reliable compatible cartridges. Epson printers are probably the cheapest cost printer, but their ink cartridges are a little more difficult to install, comparing them to the Brother and Canon Printers.
The Brother’s Ink Cartridges are slightly larger making the cartridges the best value for money.
Canon Printers have two paper trays making them very convenient to use.
Although we still refill some of the older HP and Lexmark Ink Cartridges very successfully, the more recent printers have chips built in them making refills fail when re-installed to the printer.
Kodak Printers do have some compatibles for them, but all the colours come in one block forcing you to replace all colours even when just one colour has run out.
Advent Printers are Kodak printers that are exclusive to PC World & Currys, and you will only be able to buy advent cartridges from them, enabling them to charge what they like!
Best Quality Printer: My own personal preference for all round use is Canon.
